Tile Estimator
- To work out how many tiles you need, use our handy tile calculator.
- Please note the online tile calculator is meant to be a quick guide only.
- It does not, for example, take into account the space taken up by windows in walls or baths on floors.
- The number of tiles you need depends on the size of tile.
- When you have worked out the total area, calculate the number of tiles you need by using the table below:

- Please check your own measurements thoroughly before placing your order. Please remember that it is better to order too many and return them for a credit than to order too few and find we do not have any more stock. Please do not forget to order enough tiles to accommodate future changes such as moving a light switch or accidental damage.
You can order individual tiles as long as they are not sold as a set as, for example, some decorative insets are.
Adhesive
There are so many variables that it is impossible to say exactly how much adhesive you will need. However, as a rough guide, you will use between 1.5 and 2 litres for each square metre of tiling.
Grout
As a rough guide, you will need between 0.25kg and 0.5kg per square metre depending on the size of the joint.
